Good day experts,
I have created 2 tracks in NWDI, track A and track B, with track A being the source track and track B being the target track . Track A has finished development while track B is under development. Note that track B is derived from track A, having all its components. Reason for doing so is track A and track B are in different development phase thus containing different requirements.
I have concern with code integrity of both track if there is concurrent modification being done in both tracks. For instance if I modify a file in track A and at the same time the same file in track B is being checked out and modified by another How does NWDI merge and resolve the change made when both modifications are checked in?
Usually changes in different tracks in separate Transport requests so you don't have to merge the code in 2 separate tracks.....and there are provisions to merge the code when 2 developers check out the code at same time and checkin at different times within the same track....
Regards,
Shikhil
