Adding the Reason for status field in the result view

Hi,

We have a requirement in which we want to add the reason for status field in the result view of opportunity.

The field is already there in the search view.

Kindly see the screenshot attached.

Hi Nikhil,

The Reason for Status field is not enabled for key user adoption and can not be added to the list directly.

However, you can create a new extension field, which shadows the Reason for Status Code.

1. Adapt -> Edit Master Layout

2. Hover over the result list header. Click the plus icon.

3. In the Additional Fields dialog, click new field and add a new extension field, which is calcuated and takes the standard ResultReasonCode as source.

Save and Close.

4. Stay in the dialog, search for the newly created field and then save and close.

5. Leave the adaption mode.

You should now see the the new field in the list.

I don't have Opportunities that have this status field filled. It should be filled for you.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your response.

I tried whatever you mentioned in the post.

However it is bringing the result reason code (005) not the text (Won due to product).

Also it is only updating the result view when we are saving the opportunity otherwise it is blank.

Can you tell me how can I bring the text of the field and also how can the result view be auto updated?
