Trade promotion overlap

Hi Friends,

I came across a situation where two trade promotions are overlapping for same products and for same BP

e.g one for 15-04-2009 to 15-05-2009 and another one is for 01-05-2009 to 31-07-2009.

And both are approved status

Ideally it should not happen ....and it has happened ...

Kindly advice as how to rectify this...
