Report hangs whenever data is refreshed

Hi there,

I'm having a problem when running my report in infoview. I'm using BO XI R2. I defined a prompt displayed in hierarchical fashion. First run of the report is ok but when you try to refresh the data, it's just gonna hang. You can't click on any of the parameters. The input area is just a gray box.

I've read that it has something to do with your java version. Mine is version 1.4. It used to be 1.6. Downgraded it and the issue is still not resolved

I'd appreciate any advice on this issue.

Hi Selya,

Have you applied any service pack for BOXIR2?

Which reports are these WebI,DeskI, or Crystal Reports?

Which InfoView do you have .net or java?

Is the issue is viewer specific?

Is the issue is with all the report or single report?

Hey Shweta,

IN your broswer , go to tools >> Sun java console and press 5. . Check if you getting any out of memory error .

Also what browser are you using
