9020 storage type dynamic storage bin

Hi all ,

We can select dynamic source/destination storage bin in wm movement types but i did not find these functionality in EWM.

Does EWM support these functionality ?

My requirement , warehouse worker pick up from 02-01-01 with warehouse process type but destination storage bin must be OUT-02 in storage type 9020.

Another example; warehouse worker pick up from 03-01-01 with warehouse process type but destination storage bin must be OUT-03 in storage type 9020. I need dynamic storage bin determination!

I decided to manage this process with Generic WT only decide storage type , area .

No, EWM does not work with dynamic bins. Dynamic bins are just a trick in ERP WM to avoid addition to stock on interim storage types, EWM does not need this.

When i pick up , 9020 storage type and GI-ZONE have lots of HU . I can not select which HU belongs to related outbound delivery.

Why does not EWM need this ?

Hi,

all the stock in the GI-Zone has a stock identification, and this indirectly shows to the outbound delivery order.

Destination bin OUT-02 and OUT-03 maintain in POSC staging destination.

These bins belong to same storage type.

I can not find anywhere to configure staging storage bin for POSC.

Could you share configuration step ?

Hi Mehmet,

-> Internal step(STAG) assign to external step

-> In POSC, rule based must be checked.

-> It would fetch from outbound staging determination table with business rule check, Check this FM '/SCWM/STORAGE_CONTROL_P_GET' for more info- Outbound Stage.

Is there any badi to modify storage type , storage bin when i create WT ?

Hello Juergen Pitz , Hendrik Schulte-Bahrenberg ,

This scenerio will be used to transfer HU into MM storage location. There is no sales activities.

Warehouse worker pick HU into out position of aisle of high rack storage. There are lots of HU and another worker must have to know location of HU to tranfer production. If i fill out WT destination storage bin. It is hard working .

Any idea ?
