Hello guys,
Do you have any best practise for the integration for CTS+ and Change Request Management?
I've pure portal system landscape, and solution manager with the latest support package. CTS+ is already been enabled for portal, however, I cannot assign an IMG project for portal environment. So the result is that, change request management cannot be actived in portal environment.
Could you provide some suggestions?

Okay
I got a step further. I noticed the development portal system definition in STMS doesn't get the tp parameter CTS_SYSTEM_TYPE unlike the QA and Prod systems.
The difference is that when you create the non-ABAP system you select activate transport organizer for the development (Source) system and activate deployment service for the QA and Prod (Target) systems.
These create their own tp parameters depending on which is chosen. I noticed CTS_SYSTEM_TYPE was missing on the Development definition and consequently the ABAP assignment on the JAva component was empty in SMSY. Adding this TP parameter to the Development system and setting it to JAVA corrected this.
It also meant that SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN was able to generate me an IMG in the Solution Manager systems and I could use transport create in the tasklist.
NB - These transports are not visible in SE09 in Solution Manager but can be seen from the portal using the Transport Web UI.
Other bits of /TMWFLOW/PROJ do not seem to work/appear for the Portal landscape such as CTS settings....I'll carry on looking into it.

Hello, I solved the problem by myself.
Basicly, CTS_SYSTEM_TYPE=Java must be set in STMS, all of the systems use the same ABAP system and client as the communication system. If that setup is correct, then, you can find out the system information in SMSY contains the ABAP system/client information.
Sounds complicated... No helpful documents available.

Running EHP1 on Solman & Portal.
I've Set up CTS+ on portal and defined non-ABAP systems in the TMS of Solution Manager as this will be the ABAP system for transport requests for the portal.
SMSY shows the java component for my Portal systems as having the Solution Manager ABAP system assigned for transports.
Assigned the portal systems to a logical component and assigned that logical component to a project.
The development portal shows up on the IMG tab as a red traffic light and like you I cannot create an IMG/CTS project as it hasn't got the link to the ABAP system to do this. Now i'm stuck.
