Hi all,

i am newbie in BW and CR. I am creating a report in CR from a query and i have this problem. Infoobject sales manager has hierarchy which is like this:

-Region

-City

-Sales Manager

When i create report in CR how can i make such a hierarchy ??? When i choose sales manager into the report i get the same data multiple times. The report looks like this:

Region - data

Region - data

Region - data

Region - data

....

...

...

CityA - data

CityA - data

CityB - data

....

....

....

.....

Sales managerA - data

Sales managerA - data

Sales managerB - data

...

....

....

And i want that the report looks like this:

Region

CityA

Sales Manager - data

Sales Manager - data

CityB

Sales Manager - data

Sales Manager - data

What should i do??? I hope my explanation isnt confusing 😄

Hi,

so i cant just put the object "Sales manager" with his own hierarchy wich is diplayed in query into the report?

When i make report in CR from query i add the object sales manager into the report. The rsult is what i described before - flat view. I dont see any hierarchy but only data for every node in the hierarchy. So i have data for region, city and sales manager but i only want to see data for sales manager which is the bottom of the hierarchy tree.

I cant make a hierarchical grouping because i dont have the object Region in query - it is only in the hierarchie.

What should be the solution? Making a new query ?
