EWM Custodian and Default party entitled to dispose

Former Member

I have a question on setting up custodian and default party entitled to dispose. I have CIF’ed the plant and a BP was created with crm011. Now I created a plant as vendor and CIF’ed and it created a BP with crm011. Now the issue is since for same plant I have two BP system is not allowing me to assign default party entitled to dispose.

Can you suggest what is the mistake.

Hi,

"I have CIF’ed the plant and a BP was created with crm011."

I sincerely doubt that. When you CIF the plant, all you get is a location and a SCU. No BP. Or is there anything I have missed?

"Now I created a plant as vendor and CIF’ed and it created a BP with crm011."

I guess you mean you created a vendor for the plant and CIFed this. A BP is created - but the role CRM011 has to be assigned manually (again, is there some bigger change in functionality I have missed???).

So, if you have two BPs with the same address, what are the roles in them?

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hi,

does you plant vendor have the same name as the plant itself? Check addresses and adrnr in t001w and lfa1 and CIF together, you should get one BP with that name and with both ID Types crm011 and crm004. But it also depends how you can create the vendor master.

Hope it helps,
Petr
