Automatic Batch in MTO Scenerio (WM)

Hi

In MTO Scenerio i have activated WM and Automatic Batch.When stock is available in 2 batches system does not picks stock from second batch because of this iam unable to make PGI.E.G Mtrl 1000 have stock in batch XX -20 Nos and YY-30 Nos and iam raising order for 50 Nos during delivery after TO system picks 50 Nos from batch XX (Even the stock is 20 only) and during PGI system throws error message "Deficit qty in Batch XX".System is not picking the stock from second batch YY

*But system should pick the 20Nos from Batch XX and 30 Nos from Batch YY

Can anybody help me in sorting out this issue and where should i do the config

hello, friend.

in an MTO scenario, sourcing is from sales order stocks. is there only one batch in your sales order stock, or are there more than one?

but another possible cause is that you might not yet have configured for batch splits. have you specified the number of batch splits in configuration and in your batch search strategy? you may also have to look into your Item Categories for Deliveries. this is covered by existing threads, dated only last week.

No Batch split is 999 in Batch search strategy(VCH1) for that particular material.In IMG Item category fof delivery for MTO order has been activated still the same issue occurs.Can you help me further

Karthikeyan SD,

1. Check IMG --> Logistics GEneral --> Batch Mannagement --> Batch Deteremination and Batch Check --> Strategy types --> Define Sales and Distribution Strategy types

Choose the strategy types and click details button, Check under sub heading "Batch Split" whther you have maintained no of splits, Activated "Changes allowed indicator".

2. Check IMG --> Logistics GEneral --> Batch Mannagement --> Batch Deteremination and Batch Check --> Batch search Procedure Allocation and Check Activation --> Allocate SD Search Procedure/Activate Check

Check here whether you have maintained your search procedure for Sales area and Document type.Check "Check Batch" Activation Indicator.

3. For Batch Split you need to maintain Batch split Item Category - CHSP

Try to maintain Delivery Item category determination IMG u2013-> LE --> Shipping --> Deliveries --> Define Item Category determination in deliveriesu201C as

LF(Delivery Dcoument Type) --> NORM (item category Group) --> CHSP(Usage) = TAN

I have maintained as you said in the above msg LF(Dly type)NORM(Item cat grp)CHSP(Usage)=TAN even then batch split is not happening.Can anybody suggest where would it gone wrong?

I have maintained Batch master whr No of batch split is 999

But for MTS scenerio Batch spilt is working fine.
