SAPInst Error

Hi Gurus,

Trying to install ECC 6 on Win 200 and Oracle 10.2.

Done with the installation of Oracle and when trying to run the SAPInst i am getting the below error.

Please guide me how to resolve the issue.

ECC 6 on Win 2003

hi,

yes ,ECC 6 SR2 supports windows 2003,ECC6 SR3 and above working on 64bit only.

Hi Ajay and Manoj ,

Thanks for the info..after going thru the PAM..i could get that Win 2000 is not for ECC 6and i need to go for Win 2003. Will try to install on Win 2003.

Hi,

For ECC6.0 Windows 2000 is not support, install 2003 or above.also Java verison 1.4.2_12 or above.

Hi Sachin,

Just check whether you installed JAVA or not?

And set environment variables JAVA_HOME and path.

I am using the Microsoft Loopback adapter.

Is Windows 2000 Server the correct OS to install ECC 6 ?

Possible Reason.

JAVA environment variables not set properly

IP adress doesnot mantian in the hostfile

check your host file. Are you using loopback or network for this installation?
