Hello all,
I would like to how order management is associated with WM/LE and what order management is about. pl. advise on whether it is associated with WM/LE modules or is it associated with something other SAP modules.
Thanks,
Maxx
Hi;
Order Management in general denotes the Sales Order cycle of Order->Delivery->PGI----->Billing.
But we may choose to include WM if we have the stocks warehouse managed, this is not mandatory though.
WM is part of LE and LE plays a part in Order management. Even delivery creation technically speaking is part of LE but there are lot of companies which treat it as part of Order Management.
Hope this helps.
Mani.

Hi,
Order management includes following functions.
1.Order booking
2.Delivery creation
3.PGI
4.Invoicing.
I believe earlier order management was a part of SD. Since there are more activities which are integrated with WM & hence it is under LE
Basically LE covers the Inbound ,Outbound ,shipping & transportation modules.
Regards,
Prashant
