Can a Phantom Components be used as a Alternate items using Alt.item Group in Production Order

Hi PP experts ,

I have 2 Phantom components for a parent FG Material that exploded in the component overview in Production Order (CO01) but Alternative parameters like Alt.item grp(A1) , Priority(1-2) , Strategy(1-2) and Usage(0-100%) from BOM fails to populate into Component Overview screen for these 2 Phantom components.

Can an Phantom component be a Alternate item ?

i.e Phantom Flag , Alternate Item Flag with its paramerts like Alt.item grp(A1) , Priority(1-2) , Strategy(1-2) and Usage(0-100%) co exits for a component ?

Please advise .

    Hello Manoj,

Yes. Phantom items will be allowed as alternate items. You will get the details in COOIS- Order information transaction (change the layout with your required field.

    • Hi Kumar,

I have same question as Manoj. Is it a customized enhancement or SAP standard function?

Because I search notes below, it looks like not provide this function.

Would you provide your package version to me to compare?

538488 - Phantom assembly as alternative item

      125364 - Order component: Non-supported combinations

      Thanks a lot.

      Best regards,

      Ellen.
