Hi there.
I'm taking the first steps into the SOA world and I have one question about this subject.
I registered for the website http://esworkplace.sap.com and I found a very interesting enterprise service for creating purchase orders. For the moment, my question is how can I implement this webservice on my SAP ECC6.0 system? I found some posts in this forum mentioning that the enterprise services seen on the esworkplace.sap.com are automatically installed with SAP ehp3/4. My problem is that I'm still on ehp1 and we are not planning to upgrade in a short-term period.
Do you have any idea how can I implement an enterprise service? I thought I might download the WSDL and import it somehow, but I didn't succeed.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ricardo
Hi,
If you need an ECC Enterprise Service which is implemented in EHP3 or EHP4 then you don't have any other choice than installing the required EHP...

Hello,
Thanks for your answers. IF I want to use those Enterprise Services I need to install the corresponding ehps... It's not possible to implement a single one of them on my ECC system!
I guess I will get the source code and build a custom web service.
Thank you once again.

Ricardo.

Hi,
if you don't have enhancement, you can create your own web service wrapping the bapi or the FM that make what you want without no need of workplace that as I seen has just educational purpose.
