Two types of Settlements

Whats is the differenec between Preliminary Settlement of Co products (TC: CO8B) and Settlements of Co products (TC: KO88)??

In what scenarios these transactions are to be run???

Got my query cleared.

Dear,

1. You have to assign the receiver of original order (main order) in the settlement rule of the rework order.

2. You can create the allocation structure using the secondary cost element or primary cost elements.

3. Use Preliminary settlement of co-products/rework for settling the rework order to the main order. Transaction code CO8B & CO8A.

And settlement of main order we do through KO88 or CO88 that is actual settlement..

By doing this you would find only the secondary cost element in the main order when you do "Preliminary settlement of co-products, rework" TCode CO8b / CO8a
