Hi;

Thank you Pradnya. I think the report that you mentioned could be the solution for that to find which one is approved and which one is not. While for other option to hide, the best way could be the deletion.

Thank you

Hi,

I don't think this is possible. Only way to do this is to manually delete the messages appearing in the alert window as per your action from both the sides on a regular basis. This will avoid cluttering of messages in the alert window thereby confusing both of you.

As far as I know, this will not hamper anything because, you will be able to get the details from Approval Decision Report.

Hope this will help you.

Hi Pradnya

Thanks for your reply. You are right. The process you mentioned is the same here but the reason to hide these notification after action for both sides (Initiator, Approver) is that the initiator want that I have more notifications and sometime I read the notification and could not take the proper action on that time. In this case when I take the further action against that alert I want to hide. So that I will know that I have not take any action against all those alert that are shown in my messages.

The approver wants that some time I approve, some time I take action on the spot. So the approver wants to hide all those alerts that I have approved or Reject. In this case he will know that all the displayed alerts I have to take action.

If you have some other solution for the same case Please advice.

Hi,

Please explain the purpose behind hiding it. Because, even if you hide it the details can be pulled from Approval Decision Report.

Also after the initiator has initiated the document, it has to go for approval to the concerned person.

After the approval / rejection, initiator should know about it so that relevant action can be taken. So the document goes back and forth for final stage. And as per the approval procedure, this notification is must to alert the user to take the action.

If you hide this, the very purpose will not be served.
