CRM 2007 and ECC 6.0 Business Objects Search via Enterprise Portal 7.0 SP14

We have installed business package for CRM 2007, we want to use CRM tools area iView search box to search CRM data.

Do anyone has a good document to implement this functionality?

Can we use same search box to search Business Objects (different backend systems like ECC, CRM and etc) and KM Search without NetWeaver Enterprise Search?

Can we intergrate NWES with Portal 7.0 SP14 if NWES is only solution.
