Hello!
Tell me please, I can to calculate difference (or percent) between two columns through the code?
That is I can to create a new column and write result to ?
For example:
Create new column where subtract, that is result (2223,12 - 626,66=1596,46)...
And so on...
Thank you very much for your answer!!
Hi Irina,
While your column headers may be dimensions, surely the column rows must be measures? Can you provide a complete screenshot of your datasource Initial View screen?
Regards,
Mustafa.

Hi Irina,
Sorry that i misunderstood the requirement.
The datatype of dimensions are not used for calculations, But you can covert the data type if it was a number at query level in BEx query designer.
What is the source of your data? If it is from BW you can use formula variables in calculation to convert the number into keyfigure.
Or if you want to do it for only for few values to show the value in a text box it can calculated at design studio level using scripting.
can you explain the need for this requirement?
Thanks,
Poovarasan
Hi Irina - it is best practice to make those in the back end; is there a reason you can't do it there?
I don't know of out-of-the box functionality that does that, but there could be extensions that do this - see https://analytics-extensions.enter.sap or http://cdn.visualbi.com/wp-content/uploads/Visual-BI-Extensions-VBX-For-SAP-Businessobjects-Design-S...
