NWDI Biller Direct 6.04 Source Modifications in NWDS

Former Member

Hallo World

-

Need: I need to modify class sources and jsp sources and css sources and img sources in Biller Direct 6.04 .

Symptom: I have set up SLD, defined my product, used CMS to import to NWDI and see in CBS that my FSCM_BD is an archive and not a source.

Question: How to load the BD sources into NWDS so that I can work with them?

I cannot even find them ... the Modification Guide speaks of class bill with get methods but when I upack my FSCMBD02_0-10006104.SCA locally and search I cannot find class bill. (At least the little Microsoft Explorer dog doesnt find bill.)

Solution: is there an SAP SCA file with sources and I just have to ask for it ...? Which I am doing but the SAP gentleman is abroad at the moment.

I have oss note 858563 which seems to say there are no sources available.

I have oss note 1083571 which says "use the source code ... which is available".

Thanks a lot for any help you can give.

With kind regards

David Lawn

Hallo

this question has been answered by email by the gentleman who posted on april 10 2008 a question regarding biller direct and jdi. This is Andreas Halbig. I should like to give him all the points if possible and then mark the question as closed.

The answer as I understood it and successfully applied it is (in my own words and thus possibly in error):

>1) When defining the cms track, when specifying the SC "FSCM_BD" choose the package type "Source" and not "Source and Archive".

>2) Do not create your own product and include FSCM as dependent because marking "Source" then does not work.

I am very grateful for this, thank you Andreas.

I run into another problem now, that I did not have when using alternative 2) with "Source and Archive", namely that I get broken DC's in CBS but that is another question that I should open now in this forum I believe.

We setup our Biller Direct as source instead of "Source & Archive", but now we are having issues deploying the assembled SCA to the test environment. NWDI reports a successfull import although no import occurs. When we try to manually deploy on the test server using SDM, we get the error:

Error: Could not load archive D:\sap.comFSCM_BDDID_BD_C.sca: com.sap.sdm.util.sduread.IllFormattedSduFileException: Error during attribute reading: received exception: exception during archive check: null

Is this related to track setting and what can be done to resolve it?

Hi,

This thread is being very helpful.

My goal is to do Java Development in BD Applications in NWDI.

When i Logged into NWDI,I realized there is a Track with SC FSCM_BD.no one touched it soo far..

When i imported into NWDS,I see 4 Dcs under FSCM_BD with names : ebpp, shared,bd web bd, bd sap

I created projects. It gives me build errors.

"The project was not built since its classpath is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for com.sap.jdsr.writer.DsrIPassport. Fix the classpath then try rebuilding this project"

A Thread says please do

1) When defining the cms track, when specifying the SC "FSCM_BD" choose the package type "Source" and not "Source and Archive".

2) Do not create your own product and include FSCM as dependent because marking "Source" then does not work.

a)I can Change the Track package type from source and archive to "source".

b)I do not understand the second point, Can you please explain me please.

What product we need to give for this FSCM track.?

Will this solve my all Build errors? or i have to do anything else other than this.?
