Retrieving status from a sent e-mail or fax.

I have written a generic process for sending e-mails and faxes. We send out thousands every day my users don't have the time to check each one to verify that it went out correctly.

The program works great the only problem I am having is I need to be able to provide to my users a status of the messages or faxes.

I know the status is there because I can see it in SAPOFFICE OUTBOX.

I am guessing that there is a API that will do it but cannot seem to find the one I need.

Any suggestions?
