Displaying ALL SAP error messages as popup box rather that status line.

According to our super users the SAP error messages used to display in pop-up boxes rather than on the bottom line as they do now. I assume the user means on previous versions of SAP.

Is there a global easy setting to re-instate this does anyone know. That is, rather than have the Error (Type 'E') message appear on the bottom of the screen it should be displayed as a pop-up box?.

Yes, it can be changed with settings.

Press Alt + F12 on your SAP initial screen then select options - options - here uncheck

the dialog box at error message then you will get it in bottom line.

Thanks, I also found this as well.

My next step is to determine whether I can change some of these local layout settings via an ABAP program as we need to default one of these settings for all users, well, all users within a Z table.
