Hello,
IMG ==> Asset Accounting ==> Master Data ==> User Fields ==> Define Asset Super Number.
Define Asset Super Number
Asset super numbers allow assets to be classified according to any criteria. You can define as many asset super numbers as you want. You can store super number characteristics in the asset master record and use them as sort criteria in reporting.
In this section you define the applicable characteristics for the master record field "Asset super number".
Note
If you do not define any asset super number characteristics in this step, you can enter any values in the filed "Asset super number" in the asset master record. No check is run.
Standard settings
The standard SAP system does not contain asset super numbers.
Activities
Define applicable characteristics for the asset super number.
