Material Master Views

Dear All,

I needs to add sales view for semi finished material type. as by default it i snot in the selection list.

Please guide

Hello William,

this can be done by adding the User Specific Views in defining the Material Type Screen,

You may have defined a material type like HALB or some Z-Material Type.look in OMS2 Transaction.

Add the required view in this screen.you can then extend the view for the existing materials of this Mat.Type.

Dear Rana,

You can use OMS2 for making the views as default for material type specific.

But here in general only FERT materials which will be sold will be having the Sales view also as default.

Only very few HALB materials will be sold and only for these materials the views will be extended.

Hi,

in standard materila type (HALB) semifinished material type sales view is available....

If not in OMS2 transactionn you can create your own materila type copying from HALB,

go in to OMS2, select your material type & Click on details ,

There new screen will appear with all the possible view for that Material type, select the desired view(sales) & save.

now you will get the sales view while creating semifinished material.

Hi,

1) Execute OMS2 or SPRO > Logistics General > Material Master > Basic Settings > Material types > Define attributes of material types

2) Select the material type used for Semi finished material ( In standard it is HALB )

3) Select details and activate the sales view under user departments section.

Hi

Select sales view for semifinished (better copy to new material type) material in OMS2. Whenever you create new material, you can see sales view .
