Cost Center Business Area Assignment

Dear Experts,

I am wroking in ECC6.0 version, in my cost center master data the business area field showing mandatory. If i give the business area in that field, system is not allowing and giving the Error message KS134.

I know the transaction data if exist the cost center wont change. I searched the fourm also. From the menu edit -> Analysis period also not showing due to this business area not maintained. How to make this perticular field as optional in the cost center?
