Cost Center Business Area Assignment

Dear Experts,

I am wroking in ECC6.0 version, in my cost center master data the business area field showing mandatory. If i give the business area in that field, system is not allowing and giving the Error message KS134.

I know the transaction data if exist the cost center wont change. I searched the fourm also. From the menu edit -> Analysis period also not showing due to this business area not maintained. How to make this perticular field as optional in the cost center?

Hello,

As per standard in OKEG, business area is dependent on Fiscal Year.

If any transaction data (planned or actual), you cannot change business area during that period. Only for the next period it can be changed.
