Hi All,
If my company purchase the SQL2000 runtime license together with SAP 2005. If I want to upgrade to SAP 2007 do I need to get the SQL2005 from outside or SAP will provide the SQL2005 runtime? My understanding is SAP 2007 only compatible to SQL 2005.
Please advice.
Thanks.
Regards,
Foong Yee
Please check the subnotes carefully:
Caution: Only for upgrading customer and until end of maintenance program - April 2008.
That means, it is not supported whatsoever a year ago.
Thanks,
Gordon

Hi Steffen,
Thanks for the information.
The SAP partner response very slow. I hope I can get some quick answer from here.
😃
Thanks.

Hi Foong Yee,
B1 2007 is also compatible with SQL 2000, if you may have a look at page 9 of the system requirement sheet. (The maintaince is end of life.)
B1 2007 is supported by SQL 2005 and SQL 2008. My suggestion is to upgrade to SQL 2008. There you got a forward-looking solution.
For license question you should ask your SAP partner.
