How to change project profile from exiting to new profile.

You can change project profile at database level with the help of abaper.But condition is that no FI posting should happen.
Project profile field gets stored in PROJ table.
For this you can discuss with your abaper in more details.

Hi Ragini once the project is created u can only delete it . you cant modify that. If it is released and having some cost than more complicated.

Hi ,
access table PROJ thru se16n
before executing type command &sap_edit and enter system will give message sap edit activated
then execute
Change ur project profile as u want and save.this is ur doing direct changes in table.
Generally it is not recommended to use &sap_edit just check the corresponding impacts and use.
Hope this solve the issue.

I dont think its possible to change the project profile, once it was Saved.
Try to create a Project definition with a new Project Profile

Hi,
If any FI postings are not happened delete the project. Again create new project with right project profile.
Once project is saved you can't change project profile.
