BI Authorization, how to trace authorization object S_RS_PLSE, S_RS_PLSQ

Hi Experts,

I have been using authoriation objects S_RS_PLSQ, S_RS_PLSE in my security roles.

But when I try to trace the authorizations for a users, these particular authorizations doesn't show up under ST01. The only once that show up are S_RS_COMP, S_RS_COMP1....

Even in RSECADMIN, trace doesn't show up these planning authorizations,

Can any one suggest the best way to trace these planning auths.

Any object is captured in ST01 if they are being checked during execution of screens (Dynpro). So, in this case, either you are not doing something which requires to check those objects or you can check the status of these objects (i.e. Proposal in SU24) for the used TCode.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but These authorizations in BI do not work of T-codes.

So where else do you think, we need to do check for these authorizations to be traced.

In my seniro, if i do not give this authorizations to a person they get authorizations message. but when I try to trace, this does not show up in the trace.

Does these planning authorizations be checked in any config area ?

Hi,

If these authorization objects are used during running any query or report in BW then definitely it should be coming in trace if ST01 is executed properly. Kindly check whether the transaction the user is running has any link with the auth objects you have mentioned. Also if you are getting the error message in the buttom of the screen click in that to view the SAP details.
