Item Category + Partner Determination

Hi Forum Colleagues

I would like to know if there is a possibilities of controlling behaviour of Item category and its relation with partner procedure based on document type.

Example : I have 2 sales document type i.e. zor1 and zor2 and one item category ztan1 and 2 partner procedure ZB11 and ZB12

I have one partner procedure(ZB11) assigned to item category ztan1 at item level which has 4 partner fucntion. Partner Procedure assigned to document type zor1 on header level also.

I have another sales document type zor2 in this I want to use different partner procedure at line item level but using same item category.

So based on document type the relationship between item catogory and partner procedure should vary.To conclude, if I use document type zor1 with item category ztan1, i should get partner procedure ZB11 and when I use document type zor2 with same item category (ztan1) I must get partner procedure ZB12.

Pls. suggest/help.

With the same item category i don't think it is possible. You need to get Abapers Help.
