How can I delimit a Position ?

How can I delimit a Position ? When I try to delimit a Position, the previous reocord gets extended to 31.12.9999. But I want this position to be delimited to some date.

use PO13

or Simple Maintainence

and check the TC for the infotype objects once in the tcode OOVK

I have done this through Simple maintenance. Somehow unable to do this through PO13. Not sure why..

i think because of TC of the Infotypes

that the reason i suggested Simple maintainence
