webdynpro app expires if another embedded app URL is accessed and revisited

Hi,

I have embedded the URL of another webdynpro application in my main webdynpro application. Both the applications ask for authentication. After logging onto my main application, if access the second(embedded application),

and return back to the main application, the URL of the main application expires even if I logon to both the applications with the same UME user.

Can you please suggest the reason why this is happening?

Hi Smriti,

I am not much sure why this is happening but I don't get why are you using the URL instead of this approach if you use Development components (DC) for achieving this functionality it will be more efficient and proper way to do the things.

This is the functionality of my application, the embedded application appears as an extra tab in my main application.
