VC Model Folder Prefix append

Hi Guys,

when I deploy a VC model to the Portal the Folder ID Prefix gets appended with a 3 digit ID. What drives this ID? How can I prevent it?

When I try with SP18 the folder id comes from the model name. So, I'm not sure where your 3 character name is coming from unless you have entered it somewhere...

We are on VC 7.0 and SP15.The additional prefixes (3 digits) are not entered but seem to be generated automatically.

Any input is appreciated.

In VC, under Tools -> Option -> Compiler you specify some things, but none of them seemt o relate to prefix generation. Do you have many iViews in the same model?

Correct.

In the VC Storyboard -> Tools -> Options -> Compiler the PAR name prefix is maintained and does not show the additional prefix (3 digits).

In the Portal Content admin -> Portal Content -> Visual Composer -> Models in the property Folder ID Prefix the PAR folder is listed plus the additional 3 digit prefix.

Where does that come from? How can I prevent it?

I can only assume that if you leave something off it adds it automatically to make a unique name. I'm not sure how it caculates it. You should log a formal support call if it is an issue. The value I see is based on the iView name I enter inside my model. Inside your model are you giving the iViews and pages names?
