Delete master data if it has transaction data in PRD Run

Dear all,

In production run, I create wrong GL Account & have posted to this account. But now, I want to delete this GL account. So I reverse all posting to make sure that balance is 0. But when perform delete master data in OBR1, system cannot delete & raise error: "Account has transaction data".

Do we have any way to delete this GL Account ?

Of course not, at least, not using normal SAP means. A custom program that deletes is an option... but a bad one.

Go to FS00 and there select the option of marking the GL account for deletion in chart of accounts and company code. Then it will be selected for deletion with the program for archiving object FI_ACCOUNT for GL master data.

Thanks for your reply, but I still cannot delete this GL account. System still raise this error: "Company code 1000 still contains transaction data" when doing it by OBR2.
