Hi All,

I am sending files through AS2 Adapter but I see the status message as

Could not deliver as2 message to partner: java.net.UnknownHostException: http # null. Can any one tell me what is causing this error ?

Thanks

Hi Lakshmi,

The error saying that there is no receiver address of a host could not be determined for the corresponding sender, it seems null. check the receiver.

Hi ,

I corrected that issue but now i am getting Error sending as2 files to Partner.

So i just tried to open up the AS2 URL of the PArtner in IE , it is not opening instead saying network error. I hope this is an issue with Partners URL but may i know what is missing ?

thanks,

Laks

The reason could be that the partner is outside your firewall and the corresponding ports are not open. Or the proxy settings are not appropriate.

Hi Prateek,

The URL issue is resolved but Partners are not able to send the MDN back to us . We are using Synchronous mode of MDN . We see the status from our side saying MDN not signed in and MIC not verified but they are able to receive our datas . Jsut we see failure message in MDN status. What could be the reason. ?

Is there anything to correct in our side or the PArtner side?

Hi Lakshmi,

Check the following parameters in the AS2 Receiver communication channel

Handle received MDN : Select Refer MDN to XI system

Message Subject : Check whether correct subject is specified

Check the Deliver Transmission Report

Also ensure whether you configured separate scenarios to receive MDN with message protocol as Reports

Hi Prakash,

1. I checked the configuration as you said. I haven't it checked the " Deliver Transmission Report"

Is it mandatory to use this check box. Its for what purpose. ?

2. I also tested by selecting No action in Handle MDN part. Now i see success status in Message Monitor .

What i want to know is " is ot necessary to receive MDN " But i am not doing anything with that MDN.

Kindly let me know answers for my 2 questions .

Thanks

Hi Lakshmi,

1. Deliver Transmission report is needed when you want to receive transmission report (MDN) to a report channel.

2. If you want MDN to be saved in file then you can receive.

Hi Praksah,

Thanks for your answer . We dont need to process that MDN so I hope it is not a problem if I select No action for MDN handle option.

Thanks

Hi Lakshmi,

If you dont need MDN then you can go with No action option.

Please check if you have mentioned correct certicate names in the receiver agreement.
