Default Class in Equipment Master

Hi,

We are planning to create Equipment Master for Serialilzed Materials at the time of GR. The Serialization Profile is also suitably configured for this purpose.

We have created a Class with Characteristics which has to be automatically assigned by default in all the Equipment Masters belonging to a specific Equipment Category. Is this possible through standard configuration?

hi

i think it is not possible to automatically assing the class to the equipment master ,also there will be n number of class with class type 002 how the system assign only the specified class .

i think best way is to upload using BDC

This is not possible as standard.

But you can default a class via user-exit CLFM0001 (Change or set default for classification of object)
