CATS Issue

Can any1 tell me, Project & Project Description is coming in Grey FIeld, PS consultant want that Field to be enabled Mode....means it should be in editable mode,

In 6 version only standard entries available...is there any switch to be activated to make Project FIeld Editable???

Go to CAC 2 Tcode. then click on Screen group > Influencing and then give the Data Entry profile for which you want this to be editable. Check for the Project Desription field there. You will see it is hidden. Also send me the screen hsot of that table and CAC 5 screen shot. This should solve your issue

Tapas thanks for your response I tried it through CAC2 it did not solve my problem. Still the fields remains grayed out.

CAC5 field is empty there is no data in it. I think its not related to CAC5.

I hope you can be able to achive this through enhansement in CAT2 T.code. Will let you know tomorrow after discussing with my PS consultant.

Thanks for the reply. well, im trying that since 1 week, am going to Data Entry Selection Influencing then selecting My Cats SHeet, am selecting Project, Sub-project everything in Requireed, Input & display but it is always coming in Grey FIeld, I only Want Project & Subproject in Editable Mode..

How to do this??

I have checked code CAC2, whre exactly Settings, Worklist or Data Entry Section

OK

go to CAC2 then put ur cursor in Data Entry Section and click on inflencing in contents give ur Data Entry profile name and hit enter then u can see all the modified field names now go to projects and projects description and change the radio button from display to input

Let me know if further calrification required

Are u getting in CAT2 tcode...if this in greyed then the go to CAC2 T-code check with ur Data Entry Profile and make that field to be in editable mode.
