Hi Durga,

Thanks,

If I create Role Via PFCG the profile is generated automatically ,

And there is exactly one profile per one Role that i create?

Hi Nina,

the profile is not generated automatically, only after you press the 'generate' button on the authorization maintain dynpro the 'generation ' will start. A role has one profile, which may contain sub-profiles. You can identify them all by their profile name. Sub profiles have a counter on the 11th and 12th position (for instance T..PROFILESnn) .

Hi Nina,

SAP provides this templates for reference purpose so that you can take suggestions (if needed) while creating a Role for a specific position. You may also copy any of them to create a role in customer name space (Y* or Z*).

Please note that the SAP templates do not come with generated profile. You can check the Authorization tab.

Profiles are never created automatically. It needs to be generated manually.

Role : Profile = 1:1 (but 1 profile may contain several sub profiles as "Profile Torso" if number of authorization instance exceeds certain limit)
