Hi

getting below error while creating Scheduling agreement (LP) with ref to Contract (WK)

"Contr. release order only allowed for sch. agmts. w. time-dep. conditions"

How to resolve this? What is this error says?

Price maintained in contract, will it copy to Scheduling agreement?

Hi

Outline agreements are divided in to two major sectors

1.Scheduling agreements

2.Contracts

Again contracts are divided in to two that is Quantity contract and value contract

Again there atre some subdivisions

If you fix up a contract with a customer that means you will fulfill the contract through release orders which is something very similar to normal sales order and that goes for delivery and picking and pgi and then billing etc

Scheduling agreement the subsequent process is not release orders

You can straight away go for delivery

Scheduling agreement means( the order or that agreement) is scheduled for delivery

Scheduling agreement contains fixed delivery dates and delivery quantities and the word fixed carries a lot of meaning here and they are found in the schedule lines of the Scheduling agreement

You have tried a release order creation with reference to Scheduling agreement and hence the error

but why there is provision to take reference of contract while creating Scheduling agreement?

While creating Scheduling agreement (LP) by taking Contract(WK) as reference, Target value and Target quantity are not copied, rest of the information copied to Scheduling agreement

What is the reason?
