Hii All,

For the first time i need to ask to configure Personnel Area, Personnel Subarea and Employee Subgroup.

Please help me the detailed steps to configure that on the system.

Hi Nidhi,

Find the below config of Personnel are and Emloyee Subgroup.

Enterprise structure -Definition - Human Resources Management -Personnel Areas -Personnel Subareas

then take the Employee froup and Subgroups.

Then Assign Assignment - Human Resources Management -Assignment of Personnel Area to Company Code -Assign employee subgroup to employee group.

Hi Nidhi,

The Personnel Area represent a subdivision of the company code.

The IMG Path:

IMG-> Enterprise Structure -> Human Resources -> Definition -> Pesonnel Areas

Then to link personnel Area to related Company Code

IMG-> Enterprise Structure -> Human Resources -> Assignment Personnel Area to Company Code

By relate the personnel Area and Company Code, the configuration will be directly linked to the Controlling Area that is used by Finance Side. Thus the payroll live posting into FI has been set.

The Personnel Subarea represents a subdivision of the personnel area.

The IMG Path:

IMG-> Enterprise Structure -> Human Resources -> Definition -> Pesonnel Sub Areas

The Employee group subdivides employees into various categories.

The IMG Path:

IMG-> Enterprise Structure -> Human Resources -> Definition -> Employee Groups

Employee Subgroup: Employees are differentiated further within the employee group.

The IMG Path:

IMG-> Enterprise Structure -> Human Resources -> Definition -> Employee Subgroups
