Maintenance planner and solution manager connection

Hi,

I am having two solution manager system in landscape and need to generate XML stack for an ABAP system.

how to know which solution manager system is connected with maintenance planner and service market place..and should be used

where to see the error logs of maintenance planner..

I appreciate your inputs and help..

Hello Daniel,

You can see "Last Replicated On" from system list on MP.

And when you go to the detail of the system and "Click here to explore the system details." you will see "System data from SAP Solution Manager: <SID of the SolMan>".

And also which Solution Manager is populating SMP and maintenance planner system information is not so important.

SP versions must be the same on MP and system status to get aa valid stack xml.

Run verification check also on MP.

Hi Daniel,

In addition to above, it is very important that you have the latest and up to date information in SLD<>LMDB before sending to your Service Marketplace for planner to generate stack file.

Normally you need to push data via solman production system as this is connected to all your managed system as per SAP Best practices.
