permit two standard cost estimate variants for one company code in CK22

Hi

Can we permit two standard cost estimate variants for one company code in CK22.

Pls advice how to activate the authorization to release and mark up the costing from two different standard costing variants.

Hi Kesh,

You can only use one costing variant per company code per posting period in the marking allowance. Once a company code has been allowed for marking using a particular costing variant, I don't think the system will let you change it for that period. You can still create cost estimates using other costing variants ... you just won't be able to use them for marking and releasing. Hope this helps!

As I recall you can only have one Costing Variant that releases Cost Estimates to the Standard Price field of the Material Master (through Marking and Releasing). This is controlled by the Costing Type--it must be Costing Type 01.

The company code does not determine how many cost estimates you can have - you have one per plant. You cannot have more than one per plant, it is fundamental to the system.

you can permit Two Standard Cost Estimates for one Company Code.

when you are doing CK22, you have to select your company code first, than that time system will ask which costing varinat have to marked and release, so that you can specify relevant costing varinat when you are doing Marking....
