Hi,

Hope you are aware of IDoc configuration steps.

in WE21 , ports transaction there is a port type called FILE. In your case you have to set up IDoc config to this port (inbound).

Check IDoc documentation for clear details about this.

You could define a port of type file (WE21) and than the IDoc will be generated on the application server.

John.

Thanks,

I was created port as type FILE.

Isn't assign it to the receiver port "EDIDC-RCVPOR" at FM "MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE"?

In transaction WE20 you have defined an agreement for a logical system? In this agreement you also have to use the port you have defined with WE21.

Dear John,

I hv difficulty during define Partner profiles at WE20, usually I use BD64 to define WE20. Sorry for disturbing, can you clarify the how to define the agreement at WE20?

Thank you.

Dear Weng,

You can still use BD64. It will generate the partner profiles automatically. Just go to WE20 afterwards, you will find you partner profile as partner type Logical System. Click on the logical system (to which the IDocs will be sent) and then double click on the outbound message type. In the next screen you will find the Receiver port. Use the FILE port you have defined.
