SAP Transaction iView problem

Hi

I am trying to use SAP transaction iView with web GUI but when I see the preview or in the page I get the bellow error and if I change it to win GUI everything works fine.

ERROR:

Application URL ':///sap(ZT1YeExhc1dRa3VjYUJJY3U2JTJGTHg5dEElM0QlM0RTSUxyREVmQkRYUnFjSWtmb0p1NCUyQkElM0QlM0Q=)/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui' is not valid! Please check the protocol and host entries for system

Any one has any idea about this error?

Looks like you haven't set the correct values in your backend system definition in the portal system landscape directory for the hostname and port number of the ITS server.

Hi,

In the system created in Portal set ITS path parameter value to /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui

Check other system parameter values. It should work.

It is best to leave the path blank.

However the otiginal message suggests the hostname/portnumber were not set.

Hi Michael,

I entered the ITS Server details in the System definition with all possibilities but still it is giving problem for Web GUI and if I change it to Win GUI everything works fine. So I think there is some problem in the ITS in the system to which I am connecting to you have any idea what could be the problem there.

Try starting webgui from the test option in transaction SICF. If that wworks, look at the hostname and portnumber. They will be the ICM host and port.

Wingui doesn't use the ITS settings, which is why it works!

Please configure your system which u created. And check its parameter of your its system.
