G/L accouont in XL report

Hi,

I have made some G/L account as confidential in COA which are accessible for certain users only.

Lets say User 1 can access all the account

User 2 cannot access confidential account.

This works fine but when User 2 try to access this account in XL reporter then this account is visible to him with the account balance.

Is it possible to restrict this account in XL reporter also.

One way is to make reports that filter out the confidential accounts and use Authorizations to limit reports to certain users. This will only work with SBO 2007.

The simple solution is using filter to exclude all confidential accounts all together in the XL Reporter.
