hi experts,
i am loading the data from one info cube to 2 DSO"s separately in separate timings. my problem is i am getting the error like
Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table GPUCREDT
Characteristic value '3663' of characteristic GPUCREDT is not ALPHA-converted
for both the dso's. But for one dso the alpha conversion check box is selected and for another dso the alpha conversion check box is not selected i am loading the data in production system.
can any body help on this issue
thanks and regards
kiran
If it is the key of a table it must be ALPHA converted instead of 3663 must be 0000003663... you must check using a simulation the result of the conversion of that value and be sure that the value passed is the converted.....check in the update rules if the ALPHA is checked on both ....or you can set the ALPHA to the update rule previous to the infocube so you can got the APLHA value in the infocube first...

Hi
Plz check the field in the cube is alpha converted or not. If it is yes then you need to have the alpha conversion selected for the field in the DSO as well as. You can also write a routine to convert the same. Plz call this FM RSDRO_ALPHA_CONVERSION to do the alpha conversion.
Hope it helps.

Hi Kiran,
Are you getting this error while activating the request in the DSO ? If yes then, Please try to edit the erroneous record in PSA and see whether there are any unwanted space included in this record.
Thanks,
Nagesh Mule.
