Bex Broadcaster email to MS Sharepoint folder

Hi, I'd like to automatically populate a SharePoint folder with results from BEX Broadcaster. We are using BW 7.0 (we do not have SharePoint Portal).

We have email enabled an Exchange Public folder. The email from BEX Broadcaster successfully arrives in the designated public folder (as a Post not an email message). When we try to open the file in Sharepoint, the file format is not recognized, and following gives us the option only to download the 'not recognized' file. Also the application is not associated, since the associated icon is generic, not the one for the application that created the file.

Notice the file extension is missing. This is puzzling as the file extension is showing on the attachment of the post in public folders.

If we detach the attachment and reattach it to another email and send it to the public folder, or if I manually send the email attaching exactly the same file generated by the Broadcaster, it arrives in SharePoint successfully including the file extension.

I would be greatly appreciative of any input on this issue.

Thanks & Regards.
