hi

i have single material code for finished product .ihave make to order and make stock .

i mantained stg group 20 .and secondary make to stock 10.

is it correct.

Straegy group 40 will take care of both MTO and MTS.

Hi

you configure new strategy group combining 20 & 10.

In the strategy group keep main staretgy as 20 & auxiliary strategy as 10.

.In that case if you create a sales order by default it will take MTO.

If you want to change it to MTS , go to procurement tab of sales order & chage the req tyope accordingly.

It is the way how it works.

in std sap ,spro settings i changed for stg group 20 as main for 20 and secoundary is 10 for make to stock.

now iwant to crate 1.make to order by sale s order for same material code.

2. pland independed requirement by md81 .

is it possible to create above said reuirement by giveing stg group as said above.

Hi

MD81 is to create customer requirements which will be used when SD module is not in use , normally.

I do not find any necessity in creating in MD81 here.

Can you pl. explain your scenario in detail.
