Hello Portal Experts,
EP6.0
I like to configure a SSO connection from our portal (EP5.0) to our BI system (ERP5.0 BASIS 6.40).
I have done all configurations mentioned in thread:
But when I like to test the configuration is received the following exception message:
-
#1.5#005056B509B1001200000000000019D0000469131DC894D9#1241430731764#/System/Server#sap.com/irj#com.sap.portal.sapapplication#ERAND#113##sapportal_EPD_7692450#ERAND#37e4f9e0389111deab6c005056b509b1#SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_8##0#0#Error#1#com.sap.portal.sapapplication#Plain###ApplicationIntegratorException: com.sapportals.portal.appintegrator.ApplicationIntegratorException: Cannot retrieve system 'P01CLNT100' from UMEcom.sapportals.portal.appintegrator.ApplicationIntegratorException: Cannot retrieve system 'P01CLNT100' from UME

Has anybody an idea what "Cannot retrieve system XYZ from UME" means?
Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards
Axel
Are you doing SSO via logon tickets or via user mapping. If it's via user mapping, then make sure you have mapped an SAP username/password for your portal user. Also, you need to make sure the permissions on the system in the system landscape have the end user flag set for your user.
Whereever posisble, don't use user mapping. It is a security risk.

Hello,
we are using logon tickets for SSO.
But I was able to solve the problem.
The missing configuration was the "SAP reference system" in UM Configuration.
System Administration->System Configuration->UM Configuration->TAB Security Settings
after restart of the server the SSO was working like expected.
Thanks to all for your help.
Kind regards
Axel

Hi Abhijeet,
How can I check if the portal is compatible for SSO?
For testing I used both options your mentioned.
1. iView created from ERP system
2. System Admin - > Support -> SAP Application

Hi Axel,
IN ECC System navigate to t.code SE80
In Repository Browser - From first dropdown select BSP Application - In the second Input box type in SYSTEM and Enter
Pages with flow logic - look for sso2test.htm right click on the page and test it .
Follow the steps to see if SSO configured properly.
Hope this helps.
Cheers-
Pramod
Have you checked if the Portal version is compatible for this.
Also, how are you testing this? using iview after creating system or from Systerm Admin -> Support...try from latter..
Regards,
Abhijeet
