Ajay,
Further to the response above.
You can always review your maintenance plans before the periodic IP30 run and skip any unnecessary calls.

Hi,
If you want to decide wether you want to do a maint or not then create maint plan with maint plan category as ME so that maint plan generates notification you process notification if maint is required you create an order with respect to notification and do the maintenance, if not required simply close notification with appropriate entry in activity.
Since you want to do auditing before maintenance then there is no question of buffering as you will not know wether your going to do a maintenance or not till you process notification.
Wether the equipment is installed or not the work center should be the work center which will be responsible for maintenance of this equipment

Hi,
What u just asked is the case of PP-PM integration. The PP work center mentioned in equipment master will be blocked by the Maint Order creation, if in Order header we define system condition as "in Maint" (along with IMG settings) and order created for same equipment. These u can check in capacity load/evaluation at CM33, Cm50 t-code. The PP order created on Miant order dates will get shifted to next available dates.

Rajesh
