RDDDIC3L & RDDFDBCK jobs canceled while transporting

Hi Experts,

while transporting the request we got the RC 12

[ Temporary log /usr/sap/trans/tmp/ADVG912102.AGP not found

Generation of programs and screens

End date and time : 20090427160958

Ended with return code: ===> 12 <===]

job log shows as

Job started

Step 001 started (program RDDDIC3L, variant , user ID DDIC)

All DB buffers of application server were synchronized

Cannot access file /usr/sap/trans/tmp/ADVG912100.AGP

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Need your inputs regarding

Hello Ravi,

There seems to be a problem with the permissions of usr/sap/trans directory

Can you please check that

Also do you have multilple application servers in the setup,if yes make sure that usr/sap/trans directory is shared and accessible by all the application servers,Also check the permissions of the directory,yhe owner must be <sid>adm withh full permissions

Also make sure that the directory is not full

Thanks for the valuble inputs.

issue is this is not happening for all the requests,only the requests which has smartforms has such issue.

TP RC is 12 but user says the the changes was successfull in production.

Hi,

The error would be happening in the last phase of transport only.

You can retransport the request and mostlikely it will be successful this time
