Characterstic Unit

Hi Guys,

Can anybody tell me how can I find the characteristic name with its unit. Actually I want to find the name of characteristic by putting the unit like if I put mm/s the result should show the characteristic assign against this particular unit.

No, I donot think You can search Characteristic search with respect to unit.

You Can Use Characteristic Group for example , Characteristic with Unit mm/sec , you can create Characteristic Group of "MM /Sec" , Assign Characteristic parameter & You can search correponding Charac parameter with respect to group using CT10 T-code.

You can use date of Creation also, i think Charac Group will serve ur purpose.

Two things you could do here:

- Get your ABAP team to create a new search-help

- Use TCode SE16 to search the tables directly> Try table CABN

I dont think its possible to find the characteristics using the UNIT....

Units will be displayed once u have executed in TCODE : CT10

You have to enter some search criteria like charactics name, type or status...

after executing it... it will show a list of characterics... just scroll to ur right, u will be able to find the units for the characterics..

There u can change the layout for your requirement...

If u want to do for ur requirement, u need to create a new z TCode
