document is not getting attached to PO

hi experts,

I have create a z docu type and oject link as EKPO and additional link as matcomp.when i create a new document and make the status as released.Its not getting displayed in me22n.Do i need to do any furthur coustamizations for this..Please reply

Dear Priyanka,

I think your customizing is ok for attaching Document in PO Item.

First attaching Document to PO Item you need to go in ME21N ( Create PO) Transaction.

Then go to Item Overview Button, here 1st you have to add one po item then you have to click on "Documents" push buttuon. This button is near to "Filter" button. Select here your required document which you want to attach with PO Item.

Say Ok & Save.

Now your document is saved with PO Item. That you can see in ME22N ( Change PO) & ME23N (Dispaly PO) transction.

Hi Priyank

If you have assigned EKPO object link to your Document Type you will be able to link your created DIR of your Document type to any PO item.

You will be able to link to PO from DIR or you can link PO item to a DIR from ME22N transaction.Both ways are possible.

In released Status of DIR , you cannot change the DIR.(Its in Locked Status.).

Also request you to please elaborate your requirement clearly.Bit difficult to understand.

hi sorry mangesh..Earlier what i taught is,documents will be populated automatically(after clicking documents push button) and we dont need to create the document for required line item everytime..

Whenever you need to attach Document to PO item, you have to follow the above steps everytime.
